The Blair County Republican Committee is up for election in April of 2012.
Republicans elect 2 representatives in their respective precincts.
There are over 90 precincts in Blair County.
In 2010, 118 of these ballot positions were blank on election day!

How to run for Blair County Republican Committee:
1. Pick up a petition on January 24, 2012, at the Elections Office at the courthouse. Ask for a "walking list" of voters in your precinct.
2. Get signatures from Republican voters in your precinct. You need a minimum of 10 signatures to get your name on the Primary ballot.
3. Get your petition notarized before the filing deadline, which is Feb. 14.
4. File your petition at the Elections Office at the courthouse.
